Basically there are two ways to make new friends in an Irish pub: buy a pint for everyone (highly effective and very expensive) or learn some songs by heart (cheap and much more fun). Be careful though: it may be not wise to sing the song My Little ArmaLite or other republican songs in a Belfast pub.

Where To Start

A fine collection of lyrics is useless if not accessible for a broad audience. A simple A to Z index is only usable if you know what song you're looking for.
Apart from the obliged A to Z index we provide a real catalogue. This catalogue unlocks the collection by enabling you to search the collection by title, author, recordings and subject. By this catalogue you can easily find songs recorded by for example The Wolfe Tones or Sinéad O'Connor, as well as love songs and republican songs.

Even if the catalogue and the index don't give you something to go by we don't leave you in the dark. Especially for the rookies we provide listings of the most popular lyrics to use as starting point.
